Vallo, Inc. ("Vallo," "we," "us") provides an AI operating layer for condominium and property management firms. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to vallo.dev and the Vallo platform.
1. What we collect
Account information: name, work email, firm name, role, and any details you provide during sales conversations or onboarding.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, request and response metadata, and diagnostic logs from the Vallo platform.
Customer data: messages, work orders, accounting entries, bylaws, house rules, and other records you connect to Vallo or that residents submit through channels routed to Vallo. We treat this as your data and process it on your behalf.
2. How we use information
To operate, maintain, and improve the Vallo platform.
To carry out the tasks you ask Vallo to perform on your behalf, such as drafting resident replies, dispatching vendors, generating reports, and writing entries back to your system of record.
To communicate with you about your account, releases, security, and support.
To meet legal, accounting, and audit obligations.
3. How we share information
Service providers: cloud hosting, model providers, communication platforms, observability vendors, and other infrastructure partners under written confidentiality and data-protection terms.
Connected systems you authorize, such as AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, Rent Manager, QuickBooks, DoorLoop, Twilio, and Gmail.
Legal disclosure when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.
Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to the protections in this policy.
4. Storage and security
Customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to employees and contractors who need it to operate the service.
Vallo is pursuing SOC 2 Type II. We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
We retain customer data for the duration of your subscription and for a limited period afterward as required for legal, audit, and operational purposes.
5. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.

6. Children
Vallo is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice to firm administrators.
